All the new listings are updated in the links below...update on the Detached, 4 Bed, 4 Bath, 2 Car Garage Home in Maple...we received a HUGE showing count of over 70 showings from Thursday to Monday and we got 12 offers on it yesterday. The market seems to be picking up a little as I have also updated the August Marketwatch report provided by the Board. 5621 sales in August which was low compared to last Aug at 8549. However, prices seem to be holding at par or at least 0.9% higher than last year. Last Aug average was $1,070,201 and this year...$1,079,500.
Obviously, the recent activity is becuase many buyers are trying to secure the lowest rate posisble before tomorrow's rate increase which is predicted at 75 basis points.
Even with a rate hike, I still belive that buyer's will continue to buy as long as they feel that they are ot overpaying for a home. Click here for the August Stats
