HERE’S ALL THE NEW GTA (AND SIMCOE) LISTINGS FOR AUGUST 22nd..SCROLL DOWN FOR THE LATEST LISTINGS
Mid-August Stats show 35.6% less sales in the GTA, 3% higher prices year over year from Aug 1st to the 14th...the real number they don't talk about is the 20% lower price from the all time high back in April's $920k average price to the now $731,614 average price.
I suspect this is the bottom of the market...maybe I'm wrong? Time will obviously tell.
Economy is still strong and I don't imagine all the buyer's who DIDN'T win in bidding wars from January to May all bought....which is a GREAT thing they didn't because they just saved 20% on their home as of right now...possibly a little more by the end of August.
Did I mention that I LOVE this type of balanced market where we can negotiate again...and unless someone bought early this year and trying to sell at a profit, Seller's who've owned homes for a while are still positive...in any case, it's really all relative. If you sell low, you're buying low.
